I Gave My First Blessing

My companion is Elder Brady.  He is so funny.  He's a really good guy and very smart!  The only thing that bothers me about him is he expects me to know a lot and I don't. But we get along really well.  He is from American Fork.  Haha small world.  It is just the two of us in an apartment.  So far I have been soooo busy running around like crazy.  No one is Mormon here so there is a lot to do.  But no ones listening.  We study like crazy. Ugh so much stress.  

This place is just like Delta . . . everything about this place is Delta haha, even the people.  This whole week we have been tracking and knocking on so many doors.  I got yelled at by a black lady the first day I was here haha.  She thought we were stalking her daughter when she wanted to learn about the Book of Mormon haha. So far I have taught 3 lessons.  I'm getting better at teaching. I have had to bare my testimony to like everyone I see. Ha I have gained 15 pounds! haha yessss!  

We got to teach this guy named Dakota.  He is very strange with his church and so we got in to a Bible bash.  Its something were not supposed to do but we didn't know how to get out of it.  He got way mad and so that was scary.  My new companion and I were so scared so we just said okay goodbye ha.
My new companion is so awesome. haha I'll send pics.  I'm doing pretty good so far, learning a lot and working hard. We have just been super busy knocking on doors trying to get people to come to Christ. Haha my feet are so sore. 

I can't wait to start teaching non members. I'm sick of teaching members ha they already know everything.  There are like no Mormons here anywhere it really stinks.  We have taught a lot of people about the restoration.  I already feel so different.  It's so weird how the spirit works through you.  I gave my first blessing the other day one of the sisters in are mission needed one and called me out and asked me to do it.  I was shacking so bad and sooo scared and I can't remember what I said.  It was amazing, I just opened my mouth and kept my mind blank and the things I said in the blessing were amazing things I would never just say! It was way cool!  It's so crazy all the people that haven't heard about the gospel yet and Jesus Christ and all of His miracles and all He did for us like the Atonement.  The thing we teach the most out here is the 3rd lesson out of preach my gospel about the restoration!

MTC - My District

First P-day

Hey guys ha first P-day.  I'm doing a lot better and having fun so far.  I leave on Monday to my mission and I'm nervous, I have been freaking out to go because I made so many friends here. Idk if I'm ready yet but i have been having such a hard time here so I'm hoping my missions better. I have just been studying my butt off and working like crazy. My companion is sooooo annoying he's late for everything.  He never keeps up with me and he is such a nerd haha. But we make a really good team when it comes to teaching. I miss you guys like crazy. The first three days we just sat in fire sides and had a lot of time to think.  It wasn't a good idea. I was getting so home sick, but I'm feeling a little better.
The food is really good here, we just had pork sandwiches today.  I swear I have gained like 15 pounds. It's so fattening!  I have 4 roommates and they are awesome so far.  We have stayed up every night and laughed our heads off and have gotten in so much trouble. When its lights out time we never end up going to bed until like 11:30. I wouldn't be surprised if I got sent home soon haha. But the main thing I heard that is scaring me about California is that a lot of people get depressed and go home.  I have been praying a lot and study my butt off ha and its really cool just staying busy most of the time. I have taught 7 people so far, its a really cool feeling. I love it. We quote frozen so much here and we've gone to the temple twice. I don't need anything yet. I'm pretty set, just doing laundry right now.  So far the MTC is pretty good, I just have a super annoy companion.  Love you guys!!!!!!!
